This solar water heating scheme is the largest of its kind in Northern Ireland. All 29 units have Eco Homes accreditation and
- Low energy consumption
- High efficiency gas condensing boilers
- Highly insulated
- SAP rating 104 (NI rating is 52)
- Double glazed timber frame windows (with timber from sustainable sources)
- Water butts and recycling facilities
- A rated white goods
Each house is fitted with a SWH panel which are orientable, allowing them to be south-facing for maximum output.
