| Stated aim of project |
|
The
overall objective is to promote energy efficient and sustainable
retrofitting of social houses in Europe. The market for advanced energy
efficient retrofitting solutions will be expanded, while comfort levels
and quality of life for tenants will also be improved. The project aims
mainly at influencing the decision-making process for retrofitting
social housing in order a) to apply better and more energy efficient
retrofitting solutions in renovation projects and b) to stimulate the
market to increase the proportion of social houses being retrofitted.
The scheme also aims to promote advanced sustainable retrofitting
solutions among target groups, promote advanced and innovative
financing schemes for retrofitting social housing, increase the
proportion of integrated energy efficiency solutions in renovation
projects and realise 30 – 50% of energy savings in pilot projects
related to proposed action. |
