The project, managed by CEEP (European Centre of Enterprises with Public Participation and Enterprises of General Economic Interest) and co-funded by the European Commission, aims at promoting CSR - including socially responsible investments, production and consumption - in European companies whether public or private by setting up a label. The Project targets not only public or mixed SMEs, but also companies of all sizes with a mission of services of general interest. Out of 300 applicants (French, Italian, German, Polish and Romanian SMEs), 39 were labelled and only 5 received an award.
For CILIOPÉE, this award represents the recognition of its policy on social and environmental responsibility, implemented for over 5 years. 

The jury’s members praised its excellent integration with social stakeholders and local authorities. The company works on the basis of a sustainable approach by engaging in solving social community problems, implementing a specific environmental policy and producing publications that promote social dialogue. CILIOPEE follows in its work a chart of values and accordingly keeps stakeholders informed about social activities.
