Housing Europe: the Social and Green Way

Citizens throughout the EU will elect the next European Parliament in June 2009.

To the not-for-profit providers of affordable homes and sustainable neighbourhoods within CECODHAS, EU elections are an opportunity to improve people’s life chances and quality of life through better living conditions.

In order to seize this unique opportunity, CECODHAS has issued a “Manifesto” that recalls our vision of Europe in the XXI century and includes a series of recommendations and proposals for the EU political parties and candidates to the European elections of June this year. Our manifesto wish to show the necessity for the future Members of the European Parliament to shape “social housing friendly” policies.
