The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in cooperation with the City of Vienna and CECODHAS is organizing a Second Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Housing , to take place in Vienna, on 23 -25 November 2009. UNECE is currently collecting proposals from potential speakers at the workshop.

The workshop "Towards an Action Plan for Energy Efficient Housing in the UNECE region" will focus on institutional, legal, policy, technological, public awareness, financial and other measures and solutions to enhance energy efficiency in housing.

Presentations at the workshop should focus on one or more solutions and measures adopted in one or more of the UNECE countries, thoroughly explain strengths and weaknesses of the adopted measure(s), the measure(s)’ potential for reliability, and their sustainability.
