The next chance to have a project supported by the EU's Intelligent Energy - Europe programme is close: the next call for proposals will be published in spring 2010.
Some €50 million will be available to support European projects to foster energy efficiency and promote renewable energy. Up to 75% of the eligible costs may be funded.
Intelligent Energy – Europe is part of the European Union's Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). It addresses key energy challenges: how can we take advantage of market opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency? how can we increase the uptake of new technologies for smart energy use and adopt more energy intelligent habits? how can we convert EU policy on energy efficiency and renewables into concrete action on the ground?
Applying for Intelligent Energy - Europe (IEE) programme funding is a competitive process, and the contracts will be awarded only the to the best project proposals. Attending the
European IEE Info Day 2010 can help you develop a good proposal and increase your chances to apply successfully. You will also have opportunity to find project partners from across Europe.
