POWER HOUSE EUROPE updates: state-of-play of National Regional Platforms |

CECODHAS Housing Europe with the help of AVS has recently published a booklet describing the state-of-play of National Regional Platforms established to date in the framework of the POWER HOUSE EUROPE project.
According to the main project objective, these Platforms have been designed to accelerate empowerment of residents and the up-skilling of professionals working to reduce the carbon footprint of the social housing sector. This will be done by drawing on the existing European pool of know-how and resources and facilitating the exchange of success stories and lessons learned.
Each platform has taken on a very different guise depending on the local policy, legal and financial frameworks with some federations choosing to work with a range of authorities, green NGOs and private sectors entities and others preferring to start of activities by focusing on forming a strong energy network made up of their own members.
Each platform will have a space on the POWER HOUSE EUROPE website where they will publish updates on their activities. The official POWER HOUSE EUROPE website is expected to be launched in March 2010.
