The URBAN Intergroup of the European Parliament invited CECODHAS Housing Europe to presents its view on the EU 2020 Strategy proposal which had just been agreed on by the Executive Committee, at its meeting in March.
MEPs were very reactive to promote our proposals mainly on public procurement and the State aid dossier, illustrated by the International Union of tenants presentation of the Dutch Case. Being able to explain our requests will pave the way for more structure relationship with the Intergroup and the first outcome of this collaboration will be a conference on financing social housing refurbishment on the 4th of May.
