Mutual Learning on social and housing exclusion: implementing the active inclusion strategy |

The European Commission organised a conference on 5th and 6th May on homelessness, housing exclusion and active inclusion. More specifically this event aimed to present and discuss the results and findings of various projects and studies co-financed by the European Commission, especially the study carried out by a group of academics and experts led by Prof. Mark Stephens of Glasgow University on the links between welfare policies, housing exclusion and employment policies.
Andres Jaadla, Chairman of EKYL, the Estonian union of housing cooperatives, member of CECODHAS-HOUSING EUROPE, and member of the Committee of the Regions was invited to deliver a speech on the perspective of housing providers on the question of housing exclusion.
